Thanks Bank of the Philippine Islands
Author: Caerberu // Category: Things to be Thankful ForI’m happy to get my money back, right on time, just as BPI promised.
A week ago, I withdrew money from a BPI ATM machine and it just didn’t come out. Well, it did, according to my friend who was with me–he was wondering why I didn’t get it.
From where I was standing, I could not see that the money had come out. The machine was designed differently from other BPI machines that I’ve been used to. And so, I waited and waited, while the screen flashed for me to get my cash.
What cash?
And then the thank you screen ame up and I knew that something was wrong.
I reported the incident the next day. BPI said that they would return the money after 5 days (since it’s an interbank transaction, my bank is actually Unionbank).
Today, on the 5th banking day after the incident, checking my Unionbank account on the internet, I found that the money had already been returned.
I’m thankful for BPI’s timely response and for their help.
One of my favorite anime’s is called One Piece. It’s the story of how Monkey D. Luffy strives to achieve his dream of becoming the greatest pirate in the world–the Pirate King. The Pirate King is someone who possesses the great treasure One Piece. The possessor of “One Piece” will have wealth, fame, and power. The original owner of One Piece, Gol D. Roger, said that he left it there at the Grand Line just before he was executed. With this, pirates from all over the world headed to that destination.
