I find it quite relaxing to lie outside at night while gazing at the sky. Watching the clouds move slowly is really soothing. My mind drifts as the cloud drifts. My eyes wander in the darkness around me. This is nature’s pace… Everything is beating. Everything is alive. The stars, the chirping of the crickets, the gentle brush of the leaves against other leaves.
Life is a wonder. The fact that I am here, the fact that I can see all these things, the fact that I am a conscious living being–it’s all a miracle.

Hearing an “I Love You” from a friend made my day. It put a smile to my face and lightened my mood. It really felt good to hear that.
I love you. This is a really powerful phrase.
I love you. It may be a bit overused though.
I love you. What does love really mean?
I don’t know, but it feels GOODÂ
After a week’s worth of work, it’s important to spend a day or two for rest and relaxation. Turn off your celphone, spend time away from your computer or any electronic device, and let your life slow down into the natural rhythm of life. Spend it with friends, family, and just enjoy the time.
Rest and relaxation are very important because these will keep you fresh and recharge your energy for next week’s work. It’s hard, if not impossible, to think of work all the time. That would be very draining. Change your pace and do something other than what you do everyday to refresh your mind.

It’s really enjoyable to work with shovels, bars, and the soil. There’s something good that comes with exertion and being in the heat of the sun that keeps you in touch with reality–as opposed to living the day on computers, TV, and gadgets. There’s something good with perspiring and relying on the wind to keep your body cool. Clouds that occasionally block the heat of the sun at 12 noon feel like such a blessing.
It feels like spring, though there is no “spring” here in the Philippines because it’s only rainy or sunny in a tropical country. You could also say it’s always spring, and it’s always the season for new things to grow.

It’s my first time at the disco, and I found it an interesting experience. I’m not really very good at dancing, but I realized that it doesn’t take a high level of skill to blend in with the crowd. You just have to remember that you don’t have to be the center of attention, so you can just dance normally. I recalled a statement from one of my friends back in highschool: “bend your knees!”. That was the key to it. Bend your knees to the rhythm. Move with the crowd.
It’s also important to dress appropriately. Appropriately, meaning dressing based on what matches your personality and body structure. A set of clothes that looks good in one person doesn’t necessarily mean its appropriate for you. Wear what looks good for you, and what makes you feel comfortable wearing. Wear something that you feel confident with.
From this day on, I won’t be uncomfortable anymore with going to discos. However, I don’t really think that I’ll be spending much time in such places. For some reason, I feel that I’m looking for something and I can’t find it there.
